Hello and a very warm welcome to Golden Gecko!

We are the Schmidt family from Bavaria, Germany, and we are absolutely delighted to welcome you as our guests to the beautiful island of Lošinj. For us, Golden Gecko is much more than just a holiday apartment – it is our passion project and has become our second home , where we regularly recharge our own batteries.

During the times when we are not there ourselves, we love sharing our home with you. Since a personal atmosphere is very important to us, we have consciously decided against anonymous " instant bookings ." We like to get to know our guests a little bit beforehand to ensure that you feel completely at home with us.

Our guests truly appreciate this personal touch: since we started renting out the apartment in 2020, we have already been able to welcome many families as loyal regulars who return to spend their holidays with us time and time again.
